“….let us not be weary in well doing:

for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do goodunto all men,

especially unto them who are of thehousehold of faith.”

(Galatians 6:9-10)

We spend a great deal of time worrying about God being late for we have a time schedule planned and try to fit God into it. However, we find many phrases like “In due season” or “In the fullness of time” in God’s Word and they relate to us that God has a perfect timetable.

We must take warning by His admonitions to “Wait on the Lord,” and at times, as He says to us “Today” or “Now is the accepted time.” We are told not to boast of “tomorrow” or “a more convenient season,” when He places a duty before us.

By all these warnings and admonitions, we conclude that any timetable we set is going to be flawed. Let us be wise and trust in the Lord’s planning and timetable for he is always on time and on target.

By His marvelous grace,

Pastor Ed Bowen.
